Thanks. If I remember correctly that’s with no diffusers right? I have my radions mounted 16” above the water and only get 380ish at the top of my rock which is 8” below the surface. Seems low to me with 3 radions over a 5’x2’x2’ tank.
No diffusers.

Your par sounds about right to me also. On my frag tanks (48”x24”x10”) I used the aquatic life t5’s and 3 Radion xr15’s and my par would be 350 for the high.

380 par is more than enough imo. I like to be between 250-400 par.

Looks like the sulphur denitrator is working .

Since you have trident , have you noticed any drop in Alk and pH because of the H+ acid produced in this method when the bacteria breaks down sulphur and nitrate to produce N2 .

I would be interested to see the drop in Alkalinity and pH long term if you have graphs to
Demonstrate

Yes I have noticed a drop in both.

I bought some two part from brs in preparation for the alk drop that I’m going to dose separately to keep alk up. Ph dropped about .05

The denitrator has worked amazingly well so far. My no3 is currently 3-4ppm. I’m happy with those numbers and will try to maintain those.

Hey Bubba, great journey! I love your pictures and strive for what you are able to do. One question I have is what intensity are you currently running your radions at with the T5s? One thing I have never really grasped on to since I haven't had a chance to test PAR.

I run the ab+ program at 100% for half the day and all blue at 100% the second half.

Is that an Orange Passion?

I am not sure how it got the name but it’s not like the standard orange passion most people know. Chaswood called it TGC OG OP.

what intensity did you have the radions at? I have 2 xr30s and a aquatic life I'm using for my sps grow out tank 48x24x12 and 2 xr15s for the zoa/lps tank.
