This is just gorgeous!

Just think about how good it would be for your hair, skin, plumbing fixtures.. I've been itching to pull that trigger. I would still have the rodi, but imagine it would require much less maintenence
That's my thoughts as well.

Maybe I'll get them for myself and call it a birthday present :face-with-tears-of-joy: As though I need an excuse...

I did the thing.

Dug out my shu for acclimation the proper way - the fox face has been a dbag randomly to newbies & the orange shoulder is growing fast so I'm not sure how he'll react.

We'll see how shipment and travel goes.

In other news, lined up my seahorse/quail sitter for vacation later this month. She won't need to do anything with the other two tanks. Beelzebub eats 1x every couple weeks and the peninsula is on auto-dose & auto-feed, they can handle not getting nori or cubes for a week.

Ponies get cubes daily and quail need their eggs collected so they don't attract the raccoons. Also depending on how hot it is that week, they may need a water top-off from extra evaporation.

Garden is on auto-waterers so she doesn't need to worry about that either.

Not sure how much cash I should leave her :thinking-face: Anyone have experience w/ this?

Oh, skimmer comes Monday, new ats top comes Tuesday. Need to harvest more sea lettuce from the toad tank and I'm waiting to just pop it over into the ats when the functional lights arrive.

how many visits to the house and how long will each visit take, including her drive time?

10 min drive time, maybe 15-20 minutes at the house. 6 days

Im kind of cheap so Im probably way under on this, 3 hrs of total work roughly over 6 days. 15 bucks an hour, 45 bucks, so make it 50. if you want to add in a customary (only in america) tip of 20% then you are looking at 70 bucks. so round it up to $75 and thats probably fairish...

pretty sure a babysitter would cost you about $200 for 3 hours if not more these days...

They're both very pretty. I'll try to get a photo of them in the box when the lights come up. This is my first time using the acclimation box like a good fish tender.

The monster discovered them:

But doesn't seem to be upset, just curious....

The foxface (real monster) has not noticed them yet.
