So I have to put my fish in a bucket because of a emergency but all I have is this Lowe’s bucket that I’ve never used, is it okay to to fish in there for a day or two?

I think all of us have at one time or another. I use food grade buckets I ordered from Lowes for a variety of tasks.

I don’t dont really think they are food grade they are just the standard buckets, do you think it will be okay?

If the bucket hasn't been used for any other purposes (such as car washing) that could leave a chemical residue, I'd say you're okay. Just rinse it well before use.
