List your parameters if you can. Also what light are you using and where is it placed? My guess is it is getting too much light but I would need to know the other information.

It’s a 90 gal tank with two Radion XR30 pro G5’s. Two mp10’s at 70% on reef crest mode. It was place about 1/3 -1/2 way up the tank. I’ll have to get my other parameters when I get back home.

I would try and lowering the chalice unless you know the par measurement there. It wouldn't be a bad idea to feed it some aminos or something like AF energy in the mean time.

I run my alk around 8 but I’ve been that high from time to time with no ill effects. Might be lighting. Radions can really put out the PAR. I keep my three chalices as low in the tank as possible and they grow great... my lights are no where near as powerful as yours.

They can do well with higher alk just like any coral so long as your provide them the rest of what they need to grow (nitrogen and phoshate and what not). I have kept chalices at 12 KH.

Agree, that’s why I said “with no ill effects”

I don’t think it’s alk
