Sorry, but I don't know in what thread to post these questions.

I currently have some chalices in my main display and they are not looking to good. I would like to put them in a separate tank so that I can feed them without being bothered by the fishes. The tank is going to be attached to the main tank via a manifold. The Dim. of the tank is 36"x24"x12". The fixture that I have for this tank is a 36" Outer Orbit 6 bulb T5 fixture. It has two plugs. One for turning on two bulbs and the other for turning on 4 bulbs. The questions that I have are:

- Will two bulbs be enough for this tank or the four bulbs? I'm thinking that all 6 bulbs on, will be too too much for this small tank.
- Can you please recommend the bulbs for this tank. I would like it a little on the blue side. Remember, this tank will only hold chalices.

Zeovit........
I have purchased the zeovit starter kit and will be starting it soon on my main tank. I have read that the alk needs to be low in order to be succesful with Zeovit. Since my small tank will be attached to the main tank:

- will my chalices be OK with low alk being in the mid 7dkh?

Thanks in advance.

I run zeovit, my chalices look great. My alk runs around 7 or 8 deppending on the time of day.
Can't help with your lighting quest. I run 400 watt radiums only.
