Ok, so here a question I need answered fast, my clowns today have been.... well... Twitching. Not scraping, not lethargic, no signs of illness. Just Twitching. Is this normal for a pair of clownfish? I have never had a true "pair" before and am a little worried something might be wrong... One is definitely twitching more often than the other, so is this normal?

Often the male will twitch to show his submission to the female.

A Golden Dwarf Moray, and a small flame angel. Much more nervous about the eel lol. I will post more pics when he is in the tank!

Alrighty, everyone seems settled in, eel is poking head in and out of rock work, not too shy so far. Flame angel is still very shy but getting bolder as well. Once everyone is woken up and active in the morning, I will attempt to get better pics if the eel decides he is ready!:)

I gotta name my eel soon so I can stop referring him to as "the eel" lol. If anyone has ideas let me know! Also, he ATE today, I THINK! Maybe... he grabbed the food and went into his cave... he probably ate it right? Well, either way I know hes interested in food! I didnt video tape it of coarse cause i thought he wasnt going to even look at food, but he proved me wrong I guess!

*Update*

Ok. so a few things I added, not just livestock, Ill go ahead and list em below!

1. Skimmer is now in the middle chamber, and is running ok so far, having issues with water level, so I may need to think about getting an ATO system.

2. I will also be dosing a few newer products from fritz aquatics, first being I seeded my tank 2 weeks earlier with turbo start, and just recently am also using Phyto 2, and lastly their new line of live pods that I added yesterday. I will wait another week or 2 and then move my target dragonet from my old system to my new one!

3. I also picked up 10 hermits for eating the extra food the clowns dont eat, and they are doing a great job!

NO signs of algae, cyano or any other nuisance so far, but I am ready if it does show up.

4. Lastly, I went my awesome LFS in Redlands, Ocean Aquatics, and they had the PERFECT sized Blue Tang, no bigger than an inch and a half, and is in perfect health. Has been in there for almost 2 weeks, and is eating flake like no big deal. Went ahead and picked him up, and now he is happily swimming every square inch in my system!

*Eel Update*

He has been AMAZING so far, 1 week in. Only issue I have had is getting him to eat readily, he does seem interested in food, just gets too shy to try and grab it, but I can tell he wants it. Any ideas to entice him more? Maybe some kind of food I have not tried offering yet? Please let me know!

And thats about it so far, doing well! I will try to start moving my corals over by the end of the month if everything is working properly, such as the skimmer, and if my water tests good!

Pics:

Sry for poor quality, I dont have a nice camera, also they never stay still. Go figure, a fish that MOVES?! crazy right? XP

EEL ATE TODAY!!!!

WOOOOO I am soooooooo relieved. I was getting worried that he might be starting a hunger strike, but it turns out he just doesn't like shrimp that much. I gave him some fresh clam today, and he ate 2 pieces!! Imma try some octopus next time, but at least I know he has a good appetite!

Great news! Seems these eels are tough to get eating.
