Hello all,
I ordered a custom tank(withholding name for now) and am somewhat concerned about the quality of the build. This tank is going inwall with only the front pane viewable so I am concerned less about how the seams look but more concerned about a leak or worse a seam totally separating. They tested it for leaks before they sent it out, but over time I am concerned about what could happen.
The tank is 1/2 glass except for the side panels which are 3/4 inch. The glass is beveled at each seam. They went with 3/4 in the side panels for more surface area for the seam.
Should I add some more black silicone to fill in the gaps or am I just asking a future disaster?

In this picture you can see the side panel at the top is not even with the back panel
