What a weekend so far! Played paintball today, finished some fun stuff with my LED's, and all mini darts are alive!
Mini Dart Gobies - I ordered five to start with. One did not make it from shipping. After putting the four that survived in my tank I lost one right away or so I thought. Yesterday three were still in a group and the other still no where to be found. I wake up this morning and then next thing you know, all four are alive and in a group! So happy they all lived.
Nano-Box Reef/Ryujin Lighting - My new company I am starting for nano tanks. My first plan of action is my Ryujin series of lighting. I have been working on this for 3+ months and things are just starting to finalize. I have my first controller all together. This will go with my LED fixtures or you can use it with your DIY set up. It has an OLED screen, USB, power supply ( or you can use yours ) and some other really cool features. I should have these finished in another 1-2 months. Stay tuned!
I forgot to update this thread. Here is the new stand :)
Some photo's for everyone. Some corals darkened up a little from the move but for the most part I cant complain. With this weekend being the first in a while were I can relax and do some odds and ends to the tank I should have some new stuff for next week :)
The middle tank is going to be a mangrove/seagrass biotope. I will have a pair of Bangaii cardinals and try and breed them. I will also have a long spine urchin for the small babies. The entire tank will be lit by spotlights with different spectrum's for each macro/coral in there. This is the tank I am most excited about.
Some new eye candy. I got bored :) I really need to move around some of the frags on the sand bed. I am trading a frag of WM for a frag of Grape WM today too!
Well I bought my girlfriend a new point and shoot and wanted to test the macro shots out. And wow! I think these turned out very good! The were under Blue+ and Fiji bulbs. Dont mind the red flat worms, they have ALL been sucked up and flatworm exit has just entered the building :)
Anya ways I think these turned out GREAT! Nothing was adjusted and the colors are very accurate. I love this tank :D
Looks fantastic Dave, you trust your GDM around the tiny Gobies? Mine is insanely docile but i wasn't sure about putting very tiny fish or shrimp in with him.
Dave, beautiful and inspiring setup you have here. I scoured through this thread about 2 hours ago admiring your scape while led me to completely redo mine. Thank you!
