Day 6, crabs and snails?

Today is Day 6...do you think it would be okay to add 3-4 hermits and 3-4 snails now that the tank has been running for 6 days? I am also adding 9 more pounds of cured live rock and wanted to get both today...thoughts?

both mexican red leg hermit's x5 , blue leg hermits x5 trochus snail x2 bumble bee snail x2 margarita snail x2 thats what I had in my 29 bio HQI hermits are good for detrius and the snails love film algae. This is my opinion though there are plenty of options just make sure you have both.

and +1 on result's If you have Ammonia still would say wait and same goes with Nitrite.

then no. That ammonia needs to read 0 and since you are planning on adding more rock you could be looking at another spike

Will the rock add ammonia even if its cured?

Any time you take live rock out of the water and place it in the air for transport you are causing a die off so it will raise the Ammonia in the system witch in turn will cause a spike all the way through.

your tank is obviously young and has not completed a cycle yet. Cured LR will have some live stuff on it and since you are still going through a cycle you may end up with more stuff dieing in the transfer.
