Deep Blue 75 Gallon Rimless Build

Hey guys so I decided I wanted to post my build to share with you guys and also to monitor my progression of my tank over time. I started this tank out in October of last year and transferred two old tanks into this one[live rock, fish, and corals]. I built the stand from 2x4 and 3/4 in plywood. Stand was then painted black. Back of tank was painted black and then I moved on to plumbing the tank. I went with red and white plumbing. I took my time assembling this tank together; I wanted to make sure everything was done right. It has really progressed nicely since then, I have seen a lot of growth on all of my corals from sps to softies. Tank has hit its stride and thankfully running on cruise control. Change 15-20 gallons every two weeks. Switched up from Coral pro to reef crystals and has been working just fine. Some things I would like to do in the future is upgrade my return pump to either a Vectra or Cor20. As far as current equipment goes:

Sump: Pro Clear Aquatics
Skimmer: Reef Octopus 150 INT
Return Pump: Jebao DCT 12000
Lights: 6-bulb ATI fixture, 48' Reefbrite XHO
Controller: Neptune Apex 2016
Feeder: AFS
Powerheads: Icecap 3k (left side), MP40 (right side), 2 Jebao pp4s (back wall)
Heaters: Aqueon 250 W
Doser: Jebao 4 head dosing pump, 3 part storage container
ATO: Tunze 3155
Reservoir: Trigger 5gal
BRS dual media reactor

Weekend update! No new corals really, just maintence on equipment and bi weekly water changes. Seen nice growth on my corals. Also got some gel filters so cooler pictures! Planning to get a new return pump in the coming months

Also got some new equipment got an Apex feeder and the Cor15! Love both products, feeder makes daily feedings easier and cor is silent as can be

@RickG can't see it in the picture, Is your Octo skimmer's pump in the skimmer's body or out? Does it have a VarioS pump for the motor? I have the Reef Octo Regal 150 sss ordered and should be here Thursday.

@RickG can't see it in the picture, Is your Octo skimmer's pump in the skimmer's body or out? Does it have a VarioS pump for the motor? I have the Reef Octo Regal 150 sss ordered and should be here Thursday.

My Octo skimmer is the 150int with the pump outside the skimmers body and the pump is not a varios. I have heard great things about the Regal line so I’m sure you won’t be disappointed!
