I think ive mentioned these on the thread but maybe not. I love these limpets that came in on my tbs rock, theyve gotten pretty big and they seem to get bigger from info I found online. Cayenne keyhole limpets, Diodora cayenensis. The red stripes are the main distinguishing feature, unfortunately mine have been covered by algae. Very effective grazers from what ive seen.

Feather dusters are getting big again! Super happy to see how much better theyve been looking these last few months cant wait to get them back to how big they were in January and February. Hoping they will also reproduce again soon, theres only a few left towards the back of the tank were there used to be 12 or so. I think I'll try another large feather duster of two soon, maybe a coco worm if they do well!

Sunlight is starting it to hit the tank again! Sun hasn't hit the perfect spot to create that prism effect that I showed pics of in January. Can't wait to take pictures with that again!

@ISpeakForTheSeas, I think I may have found a positive ID for my feather dusters. I guessed a member of the Bispira genus a few months ago and now I think I've narrowed it down. I think Bispira viola could be correct, it definitely looks like it. What would be the way to verify, preferably without a sacrificial specimen like you've mentioned before?

Blastomussa is looking much better recently. The small polyps are still sort of half closed but theyve been looking better. It was definitely a light and flow problem, there was also a clump of bubble algae on the back that I couldn't see from the front of the tank, did a peroxide dip and scrub to fix that.

Can't stop moving things lol, I get so nit picky when I have nothing new to add lol.
I re mounted the gorgonian because I feel like I put too much epoxy under it and I wasn't liking the massive blob. New application is not much better, maybe just super glue for gorgs would be best in the future, they dont seem to grow over epoxy. It is now more upright so I had to snip a little that came out of the water and mounted it somewhere else.
Thrilling updates I know 🙄 lights are about to go out so everything's closed up. You can see the little cutting in backround to the left. Really wish I would've just left it

Currently on gorilla crab watch, yesterday I spotted this molt/carcass that was clearly not from my emerald crab. There was a lot of bristleworms around it for it to just be a molt so Im hoping it died. Very strange for it to pop up now though since the rock has been in the tank for months and in an observation tank for months before that. I wonder how small this guy must have been. No damage to corals yet.

Love these! I haven’t seen tons of growth in my gorgonians but they also seem like they are doing consistently okay. I always love adding a new one to my gorg forest.

I got one and now im obsessed, more are definitely on the way!
The NPS I accidentally bought is declining despite my efforts, but it’s still beautiful as it goes. I call it my “temporary exhibition” coral, haha. My goal was to keep it at least as many days as dollars I spent on it. Four more days and I’m there!

My nps sea fan is not doing so hot either, luckily ive got a special tank going up for it where it'll get blasted with flow and get hardly any light. In the mean time it has receded a good bit and has grown some hair algae on the dead parts, fingers crossed it'll bounce back.
