Recently i added a trachy to my tank. I died within a week and shortly after the other two trachys i have had for over a year suddenly bleached. No other changes occurred in this time. Has anyone else had a similar experience? What other causes of bleaching have you observed other than light and what did you do to bring your corals color back?

Check your water conditions. Sounds like something is off in your water.
72-78° F, dKH 8-12, pH 8.1-8.4, sg 1.023-1.025. Check calcium, alkalinity and magnesium. Also check levels of anything you are supplementing (ie: iron, iodine). Are you doing your weekly water changes of 10% or more using RODI water and a good quality reef salt?
