I had a sea cucumber get caught in my MP40 and thought he would just work himself free. Then the protein skimmer was over flowing with foam didn't think much of it? so I pulled the cucumber off the pump and decided to just get rid of it. Almost instantly all fish went into hiding. Found 2 carpenter wrasses one bartlett anthias dead and 2 bartlett's missing probably also dead. Could a cucumber give off anything toxic ? Purple tang and jaw fish r ok. and all corals look ok.

Yes, sea cucumbers can release toxins when injured/stressed. If you haven't already done so, add some activated carbon and do a large water change.

Definitely a few water changes and Carbon .
