No allergic, and they stick in the throat.
When ever I feel bad I let the crab eat a little of me.

I have 3 Florida stone crabs that were tiny and came on my live rock from TBS. Now not tiny.

Supposedly good to eat but I am allergic so they are safe.

You know, it's funny because my Fiance and I were thinking about this when we ate salmon the other day.... Like, we are eating my fish's cousin haha.

The weirdest thing ..
I like crab , hate lobster
I’ll eat some whiter fish such as cod , halibut etc but do not like salmon

I’ll eat canned tuna once in awhile
I haven’t ate any fish in a few years though , as I am getting a little older , I can’t pan fry everything in butter no more lol
I can ..... but the doctor says I shouldn’t .

I don’t eat pork except for bacon .

Viva la beef

Ever since getting into the hobby I have been wondering how many of us fish keepers do -- or not eat fish.

I have been a pescatarian for the last 7 years. IE, a diet with fish but no meat consumption.
This because of environmental, ethical and empathical reasoning.
When I started planning my first tank / watched Seaspircacy, I became a full vegetarian.
I guess I was too distanced away from fishes to really think my own hypocrisy through.

(But then again, having fish / corals myself is (perhaps) another irony itself. It never ends haha.)

I'm really interested what stand / opinion the R2R population has towards the subject.
Feel free to elaborate your view.
There is no wrong or right answer. This thread isn't about projecting <x> views / ideology on <y>.
Everyone does what everyone does.
I have stopped fishing as I think humans underestimate the perception of other life forms. I imagine fish as having some fraction of consciousness.

I used to hit the spring walleye run in Canada with my grandfathers.

We would bury ourselves in the bush for a week with just enough supplies to survive. You had to catch fish to fill up.

3 hour old walley lightly battered and pan fried will turn any hardcore vegan into a carnivore instantly. Its that good. No restraunt I've been to can come close to fresh river caught walleye. I actually prefer Northern pike a bit over walleye but they are a pain to fillet. Mama ducks appreciate you catching pike....bent a lot of hooks though. Strong fish .

As long as the fishing is properly regulated and sustained I'm all for it.

I do eat fish. I didn't when I was younger. My dad who was a diver said he made a deal with the fish that if he didn't eat them they wouldn't eat him and I thought that was cool.
Than I tried some salmon that wasn't cooked well. All dried out.
Later I tried some of mom's catfish at a Louffi's and loved it. Mostly just salmon, tuilappia and catfish.
