Oh that’s a really cool idea! Thanks for sharing!I don't have anything interesting in my tank so I don't have a picture to add, but a lfs that I have been to a few times has gsp growing over letters in the tank that is the name of the store. It wasn't completely covered last time I was there but what was covered looked really cool.
Well that's awesome looking. I know you said it isn't yours but any idea what they used for the skull that is reef safe? Not mine but I love anything covered in Cyphastrea
Portland cement is cheap and readily available. I may try to make my own mold and do this. I've never been a huge fan of encrusting corals but this may change my mind. Thanks for the info.My guess it’s just straight up cement. I know a guy who incorporates a lot of skulls in his scapes using just Portland cement I believe. I think there is even one you can buy on amazon, if I’m not mistaken? I’ll see if I can find links!
What kind of lepto is that? I am trying to convince my wife to let me try something like this in the tank and she refuses. Haha.My husbands only piece in my tank. It has grown since a bit since this picture was taken.
Yeah, it’s not my favorite either. I keep trying to sell it. Haha. It’s a Jack o Lantern Lepto. He grabbed it at RAP a couple years ago. What kind of lepto is that? I am trying to convince my wife to let me try something like this in the tank and she refuses. Haha.
