Does anybody use Taotronic led lights?

Yes! I used 2 over my 75 for a year with no problems! I grew soft and hard corals, as well as clams and sps. I kept the dimmers around 50%. I sold one fixture when I moved, and have 1 over my 16g nano. Going on 2 1/2 years old now. Love the fixtures, even if it broke I would get another. Comes with 2yr warranty. Also VERY easy to open up and clean. Its very quiet. I couldn't hear the fans unless I put my ear a few inches away. Let me know if you have any more questions, good luck!

Your able to keep hard corals under the led light, that has no optics on them?

Yep. The fixture that is on amazon for 170$ I believe. They were 180$ when I bought them. Zoas and palys grow fast, I have chalices that are taking off, a few acros in the tank around 4-5"in. I've kept every kind of coral under these lights since I've had them.

Yep looks good. I did the same thing but they didnt have those fixtures yet. Mine didn't have moonlights or timers

I wouldnt use that one, not for that cost. The Reef Breeders value Led is the same, but has better colors and lenses. So does the one on EBay, looks the same as the Reef Breeders. Im on my phone or id link them for you. They range from $125 to $160. And with green and red leds and optics, they are a much better value. I can also link how to install them in your canopy, as I have one.

How close do you have them to your water. My canopy only allows them to be 5" away from the water. Is that bad?

Mine is the same way, I just measured mine out, at 6"
