HI...I am getting a bigger tank and want to do a reef tank.
I currently have a 36gal. I've had it for years and its amazing.
I'm on a budget so any ideas and advice would be great!!!!

Welcome to Reef2Reef!

I recommend either talking to a local fish store and asking if they know anyone trying to sell used equipment or keep an eye out on Craiglist. If you find something that interests you, you can always ask here if what you are looking at getting will fit your needs.

You need to be patient going this route since you never know when used equipment may go for sale at a reasonable price, but you can save a ton of money this way.
