Dosing Trace Elements via ATO?

I dose A- with my Alk 2 part and K+ with my calcium 2 part - this way i get most trace elements regularly without needing 2 extra dosing heads or forgetting to dose by hand.

I do an ICP (ATI) every three months
My bromine and lithium levels were always high
My strontium, fluoride, and iodine levels were very low
In the end, I had to start dosing each element separately to control the imbalance
Out of curiosity how much TM K were you adding to the tank and what was the tank volume?

I will need to keep an eye on these and see if they creep up over time…

A drawback of a mixed additive is that it’s an estimate.

In this case, strontium and fluoride are consumed by calcification, while other trace elements are not (such as iron or bromine or iodine). In a tank with high calcification and low noncalcification growth (macroalgae, soft corals, etc) either some will be low or some will be high.
