i have one week to build two 120 gal tanks, stands,lights, canopy, reflectors, sump, ballast box etc....
here is where im at day 4 so far.. both tanks are completed and one sump and one stand almost...
routing a slot for the ext. overflows..

round over bit for the euro and overflow to quiet it down..

gluing the ext. overflows on..

what it looks like from the inside with a internal black ground...

rounding over all the corners for a nice clean look..

gluing the bottom on.."notice the overhang for easy gluing"...

leak test on second tank... the first was done standing in the mess of a background..

and both tanks completed... with one sump and one stand so far...
still need to paint the stand and skin it for completion..

just got one more stand, 2 canopys and the reflectors to make the ballast boxes are made and way cool...they contain two 175w mh ballast with cooling fans etc.... will get pics later..
so if you need me i will be in the garage.."CRUNCH TIME" :lol:

well i did finish these..:smile:
the wood was all attached around the steel frame so it is completly open....

ok here we go....
all the wood was maple and i used sedona red stain....
with 3 thick coats of poly urethane inside and out to protect it from water damage...

troylee, just looking for pictures that show the basic construction of the canopies. I pretty much have how I'm doing the stand nailed down, just feeling out the canopy now.
