Finally starting my build thread, I have been working on this for over a year. I started off on August 2009 when i broke off my 220 sps and bought a 195 Lee Mar, thinking that it would be an fast and easy upgrade...wrong!! Over a year later i finally completed the set up.

Heres the new tank specs:
195 LeeMar Starfire 64x32x22 with custom stand.
48" Sfiligio XR4 2x400, 4x54watt T5, with 6x moonlight.
BK Alpha 250 skimmer with Avast Marine Swabbie.
Avast Marine, Davy Jones waste collector large.
ATB Flowstar 3200 return.
Schuran calcium reactor with Cole-Palmer MasterFlex dosing pump.
1/3HP Teco SeaChill Chiller TR20
Apex Controller with EB8 and 2x DC8, IO
Geo Kalk Reactor
Precision Marine media reactor.
Litermeter 3
4x MP40ES and 2x MP40W gen 2
I think thats is.. now here some lousy pictures.. i got ZERO skills with the camera.. I have a good camera, but lousy shots. bare with me.. I hope to learn how to take decent pictures one day.
Heres a shot last year when the tank was first moved in.

Thanks guys.. i took my time on this build..so i had lots of time to work on the wirings.

Reefer831, i just installed the Apex. I have not calibrated it yet. maybe today, hopefully. Im installing the wireless adapter this weekend, i'll do it then.

Ian, haha.. i know, we had the longest build ever. I took extended christmas vacation just to finish it up. I called you the other day, i was thinking on changing my Sfiligio ballast into Lumatek ballast and wanted your input. hit me up when you have a chance.

The tank is clean right now, but im sure it wont last too long..

anyone have a good advice on cycling method? so far, my plan is to add MB7 and Prodibio for the first three to four months.

Ed, I love your aquascape! Congrats dude. Please tell Jesus I said hi. As far as cycling goes, I always add 2-3 raw prawns, a piece or two of live rock, and you are all set to go. This process has worked for me on all my tanks and it works great.

thanks Sang!! i just need to find a clean live rock. I'm starting with all dead rocks and sand. I took down my old tank due to pest, star fish and spiderworms.. i woul hate to do it again. Hows you tank doing? hows the new clowns? i'm hoping to get a pair of platnum/black ice picasso.. but thats later.

Tank and clowns are doing great. You just need a small piece of live rock just to seed the tank with some bacteria and coralline. Yeah, make sure the live rock is extremely clean as you don't want to introduce any pests. Btw, what type of rock did you use?

those are mostly small pieces of fiji dead rocks. it was from my previous set up and had been sitting around my back yard for a while. I just cemented it all together. I have tons of these rocks, in fact. i have several structures made before i decided on these two.
