Update I took it for a reef dip and at the bottom of my bowl was a L O N G orangs flatworm....don't know if it was eating on the flesh but it is gone now. Also found a small piece of new flesh on the back side.Hopefully will be OK

Though if they were on your favia they could be on your other coral as well..might need to dip/QT everything.

I test every week or two, others do not, everything has been right on-nothing out of the norm with the water.I don't question the water at all.Just couldn't image what kind of critter had eyes for the coral.Seems as tho I know now.I did inspect some of the other pieces and everything else seems fine.

When I had a goniapora, I found a really large worm living in it. People in the LPS forum of RC told me that they're pretty common and it may be a form of symbiosis since no one has attributed any problems to it.

Though if I found a big worm on a coral thats showing problems, I'd be worried.

Big,bad, orange is now SO gone.I do have three sexy shrimp in there although they get fed, haven't noticed them messing with anything before but I'll keep my eyes open.
