Anyone have any experience with Fighting Conch Snails?
From my reading there doesn't seem to be a down side to this piece of a CUC. But I'd rather get some advice.

Tanks size is 180 gallons. Well established, 2 years old.

Thanks in advance.

nothing but good things about these guys. They can knock over stuff with their big shells so just make sure everything in your tank is secure and any corals on the sandbed wont sting others if moved. They few tanks i have seen them in have spotless sand beds. I intend on getting one once my tank is setup and everyone who has em recommends em so there must be something good about them :)

Great. I appreciate the feed back.

Everything I've read is they are great, but with fighting in the name.... I want to be safe!

Ive read where they will thrive if you have alot of open SB.

But your tank should be big enough

They are some of the best CUC I have ever had. Price seems a bit much for a snail but they have lived for years.

i would say the only down size to them is there size. there not a little snail by any means. i have 2 and they are 3-3.5" big. very interesting to watch, and you definently need open space for them to roam.
