Filter floss?

I’m over socks. Considering switching to a floss in my first sock hole (use a filter roll in the second). What are you guys using? I’m running a large and heavy stocked SPS dominant tank.

Me too. The sump on my new tank I had built with three filter sock holes. I just don't use them anymore. Actually put 4 inch aquaponics pots in the holes. I put a bag of GFO in one of them.

I burn through my rolls quickly even with a sock in my first slot. I’m scared to think how fast id go through the rolls in the first slot.

Nothing. I could add floss or other bags of media if I wanted.
