So I have an icecap skimmer. It's been in the box for a few years...so it's out of warranty.

The neck ring that holds the cup to the body has separated.

Which glue should I use? I was thinking weld on 4 to reattach and then weld on 16 on the outside of the seam, to try and add more structure to it. Not sure if that makes sense...or if there is other glue I should use. Maybe there is another glue that might be cheaper...because to do my idea above is $50.

Well the material is probably not acrylic, so the Weld On will not work. It is probably a PVC or Styrene or even a ABS. If it were me I would try a little plastics cement or Fusion PVC cement and put a dab on the ring and see if it softens it up. if it does, it will probably work. You can also use a silicone for a semi permanent hold.
