Perfect, thank you so much for this! Love the build, especially the thought out diy additions. I will be stealing your idea for the lights and heater holders for sure!

Glad it helped! Happy reefing!:)

My vermiculite leopard's colors are so breathtaking. Definitely one of my favorites.

This Neon Green Caulastrea is getting bigger and bigger and...... about the size of a small cantaloupe. It's been fragged numerous times.

Pink Toadstool leather.
This is the only soft coral I have in my system, other than some GSP. It started out as a frag about the size of a quarter. It's mother got very large and my current clowns would host in it. Maybe someday they will do it again.

Euphyllia glabrescens, torch coral.
I currently have 8 heads of this and it keeps popping new heads! This one below is three heads that I fragged at the time I set up the tank from the mother colony .

Mars aqua diode layout

I replaced the 3500k's and 7500k's with 14000k's and 20000k's. This mimics closely to SB reeflights diode layout.

I have them at 13" above waterline .
I removed ALL lenses, this greatly reduces or eliminates shadowing and the "disco" effect. You still have some shimmer effect. This greatly improves the color blending and adds more crisp white blending with the blues.

Corals have responded exceptionally well to the change. SPS frags have accelerated tissue growth over their plugs, where they had stalled. Polyp extension is the biggest change. Never seen such extension before. Full and "fury". Color has improved, especially in my monticaps, they too are "fury" with polyp extensions.
Especially zooxanthellae density!

Very nice! Where did you buy the replacements?
