Frogspawn or octospawn?

Picked this monster up and was listed as a frogspawn, but after getting it in the mail and having a friend over we weren't sure if it was a frogspawn or octospawn. It's got some pretty beefy stalks with multiple heads on each one. Looks thinner on the pictures. Either way I'm happy with it.

Also, can someone explain exactly the difference between a frogspawn and octospawn. Are they a full on different species or just physical variants of the same. Thanks.
