Thx! Came in as a hitchhiker so I figure it would be OK as long as it’s in the same genus.

Yeah it’s less than maybe 3/8 of an inch across so it’s very small - from what I understand they get way bigger maybe the fuzz develops at a later stage in their development?

This has some links to help you identify. Apparently there are some that are bad, but it states you'd have to be pretty unlucky to find one those as most are reef safe. I've been wanting to get some fuzzy chitons, but trying to wait for the weather to warm up a bit before ordering!

Identifying the species of Chiton is essential to know if it is reef safe or not, but it is only a very small minority of Chitons that are predatory. You would have to be VERY unlucky to end up with a predatory species in your aquarium.
