Garage fish room setup

Hi I'm setting up a reef tank in my garage and have just order a herschel infrared panel as my garage drops in temp to much and was wandering if it's safe to have the panel on the adjacent wall from the tank would it affect the fish/ coral in a negative way.

Any advice would be greatly received.

That was my thinking but just needed a bit of conformation.

How is the heat generated? Electric or water/steam. Looks like electric.

That's a traditional wet rad I'm the image. I'm going to put the infrared panel above it so I have better control over the garage temp because we don't have the central heating on all the time and the temperature can drop about 10 degrees from what the tank temp would be
