Has anyone around the country heard about gas going up tonight due to the hurricane?? They have been on the radio around here (TN) saying gas will go up $1.50 per gallon at midnight and limit gas to 10 gallons!! They claim they have called gas stations and they have confirmed...Anyone else hearing anything about it???

Just talked with a customer that owns a station and he confirmed that his prices were going up at midnight. It is already crazy at the gas stations in town

i know gas in europe is crazy but i wonder what their avg salaries are like
thats wierd though that theyre changing the prices at midnight, my dad owns a station and we get the price changes at ~7-9pm

Thea better be careful or Thea will be paying the price. After 9/11 we had that happen hear and the state find a lot of them for price fixing.

In europe they buy gas by the liter. I was over there some time ago I am sure they make way more than us.

From the chart above we have every reason in the world to complain about fuel prices. As you can see the USA does not have the highest fuel prices around the world but FAR from the cheapest.
With Venezuela being an oil rich country and much closer to import oil than Saudi, why is the USA dealing with them for the importation of oil?

I heard gas is going up cuz of the hurricane only just a little from that but some major oil company closed down. At least thats what I heard on the news. Its supposed to go over 5 bucks here n west texas.. Where theres an Ample amount of Oil!!

reefer I just looked at your list. That list doesnt include places like london where they are paying $9/gallon

it's random here this morning - some went up .50 some .20 and some stayed the same - just gouging the consumer. they could at least kiss me first!!

that list is pretty crazy

We are sitting on trillions of barrels of oil..
Energy is the Heart and Oil is the blood of this country, Cutting our dependency on foreign supply will have a major effect on our economy (for the better).

I'm tired of turning on TLC and watching Dubai build billion dollar Islands, Indoor Ski Arena's in the desert, & one of the worlds largest buildings with *our* money. We drill here our money stays here..
