Getting back in the hobby

Getting back into the hobby after taking about a year and half break. Had some things to work out and bought a new house. When we moved in I had a colum right in the middle of the entry way that I hated. So I had a 60gal cube laying around I had never used so decided to rip the column out and put the cube in its place. Been cycling awhile and just added a couple clowns to it yesterday. Only been out a short time and it's amazing how quick everything changes.

And then I ran into trying to find a sump that would fit in my 16"16" space. Got tired of looking and didn't wanna spend 3-400$ on a custom sump. So I learned a lot about gluing acrylic and made my own sump and dosing containers.

Still have some power heads to install and finish hooking up the doser.

Thanks for all the welcomes. And the column was defiantly not load bearing. Had the builder verify with the blueprints that it was good to go. Also when I pulled the old column out you could tell it wasn't load bearing. The floor plan on the house I bought had two options in that room. One was mine and the other you could box in the entry way and tie it into that column for a office space. But the way mine is it just separates the dining room from the "foyer" as they describe it.
