I was just looking at the news where a homeless guy on the beach got beat up in broad daylight with people walking by who didn’t help him. How can you watch someone be hurt and not take a stand?

That’s why I posted in defense of the lady who lost her mom...

Morning All!
Another beautiful day here in “The Bluff”!
Angelas flight was delayed almost 3 hours last night so she didn’t get in till after midnight. Letting her sleep in this morning while I watch the news on mute and try to entertain the parrots so they stay quiet.
The chickens are enjoying their new “rain forest “ misting system. It really does work to keep the temps lower. I wish I could set up something similar for the orchids but I’m sure it would turn the house into a mold factory. Can’t have that!
No big plans here for the 4th. Nashville puts on a huge fireworks show every year. This year, they are CLAIMING it will be the biggest in the country. We went a couple of times but the crowds are too big for my liking And a lot of drunk people so we will watch it on TV live. I used to really enjoy shooting off fireworks but they scare our critters and my reactions are much slower now and it’s too easy to get hurt.
Everyone, PLEASE stay safe this weekend. Now that things are reopening, it seems like some folks just don’t remember how to behave themselves in public.

Good morning! Happy almost 4th of July. We're enjoying the lower humidity this morning. The big grilling day will be tomorrow, which I guess is officially the 4th. Daughter-in-law has to work Monday. That's what happens to the new nurse on the block.

I ordered bubble guns for the little guy. They should be here today, if Amazon Prime does their job. We may take him to a park for some energy burning otherwise.

I did a major workover of some more mushrooms with the majano wand yesterday. My acans will be much happier Since I have a long weekend, I really need to work on some tank maintenance. BUT, I also may have to check out TSA weekend sale also. That counts as "maintenance," right?? :D Maintenance of my credit card balance anyway...:rolleyes:

I hear the pitter patter of little feet upstairs. My red flashlight is also missing, which he borrows every single day. Yesterday, it was the red flashlight and a yellow fly swatter. The life of a toddler...;Joyful

That's how they turn you into one of them.
They drag you into an argument
Arguments are a form of arbitration.
Someone wants to harm your cat. You say no. They get a lawyer and you end up in court and arbitration is invoked.
It is declared they get to harm your cat, but only once a month. They wanted to do it every day.
Big win. You got mostly what you wanted. Stop being a sore winner.

Notice that once in court it was decided cat harming is okay, all you got to argue about was how often it happens.
and then 6 months later they drag you into court again for further arbitration.

Why are you trying to deny this person the accepted practice of cat harming. They wish to harm the cat every day

I’m sorry about your torch loss. Struggling with that colony recently, idk why. The other torches are doing great. If it regains health, I’ll give you another next time I’m north.

Totally not your fault ... I moved it! I just feel bad. It is holding on - barely... LOL I'm going to play with the flow today and see if that helps.

i am having a good day. i went for a bicycle ride yesterday; ended up with rubber band legs after only 2 miles. rather than doing it again today i am going to the store to get a mirror for it. for some reason when i swing my head around to see if there are cars coming up behind me the bike wants to swerve into the middle of the lane. probably because my neck would rather my waist twist. enjoy the best day we are going to get today!!

Getting ready to make breakfast after my walk for our friends next door who are snowbirds and just got back from Key Largo last night.
Big pool party this afternoon so I baked bread and am making a lot of Italian things to eat there.

My dog is not a fan of fireworks. Audrey seems to find the fish tank therapeutic. She was particularly fascinated by that tiny snail.
Looking like the kid that was going to buy my 90 gallon set up has building delays. He is going to discuss with the wife but I think that is code for find another buyer.
In the meantime, I am picking up that enormous pearl bubble coral today from my friend. He wants it out of the tank before they show the house again. They really need to sell their house. The wife is in the hospital after suffering a stroke on Monday. They have no insurance and Covid forced her out of business. They need all of the prayers and help they can get. Anyone want to move into a house with a fully established 180 from Glass Cages and a 3000 gallon koi pond in the backyard?
