I only have a saltwater tank (softies only), and here is a little bit of background info on why I have gotten into the world of fishkeeping:

Now, unlike most people, who come to freshwater fish keeping for the plants or saltwater fish keeping from Finding Nemo, or Finding Dory, you all have come from somewhere, started your journey. Me, now I started saltwater fish keeping, because so many species of reef fish, are dying out due to global warming, and it really annoys me, that most people, keyword, most people do not care. This forum, and many other forums, are from the people who do care. So, I'm trying to preserve reef critters, because if they all go extinct, there is basically no possible way to bring them back, (although people could cryopreserve them, but let's be real, that's expensive). So yeah, this is why I've gotten into fishkeeping, and also because I find saltwater fish to be cute.
