Grow out contest

It looked like the last grow out lasted 5 months before it sizzled out. I would make the grow out 6 months and don’t sign up to do it unless you for sure can and WILL do the monthly updates.

I definitely wouldn't expect a free frag. I don't mind paying if it means a better prize for the winner and better participation.

LOL i swear I am in the Matrix. I just saw one of these back in 2007 and was like wow that sounds cool. For that grow out, back then, they did charge a small fee for the frags to keep some of us honest lol I would love to join and try my hand.

It’s always fun once you have the right people. I had a lot of fun with the last one even if I lost [emoji23] had some great reefers on that one.

What are the logistics of this though as far as supplying the frags? $40 for an overnight shipment of one little frag? Doesn't seem all that logical to me, but I've never participated in one before so maybe there's a way to make that work I'm not aware of. :confused:

I guess i don't remember then. lol I almost positive I only charged for shipping on that last one with the PC rainbow but I Could be wrong. I know some people added a frag or two which softened the blow on shipping. first sentence in the original post even says I donated them?

Why not set a buy in price? Say $100. $40 goes towards shipping say another $30 to the vendor for the frag and $30 foes into the prize fund. If we had 20 participants that would be $600 for the winner. Also the $100 buy in makes sure you are committed to posting on the thread!
