Does anyone on the list have any objections or suggestions for these rules? Is anyone no longer interested? Does anyone else want to join?

To aid with judging you might be able to create a points based scale on multiple factors rather than just height or weight.

Maybe something like this?

I like this. Gives a good reference point.

Weight is too much. But these guidelines are doable.

Just thinking outside of the (water filled) box here...

But the points bases system could work well too

Just looking at some other threads on this particular acro and someone correct me if im looking at the wrong piece but it appears that this will encrust quite a bit before tabling off? Top down shots are almost a must depending on where in the tank it is located. I have a SSC that has really taken off outwards and you'd never know without a top down which I rarely do since I don't have a porthole for my camera.

This is becoming more of an in depth science experiment as opposed to a for fun type challenge.

I say use the KISS method.
Whose ever frag is encompasses a larger area, wins.
Bonus points to the largest colored up frag.

Agreed

You will most likely need to post a picture at least once a month, which I feel is pretty reasonable.

Also I'm okay with organizing and keeping track of everything unless someone else really wanted to.

I nominate @leahfiish to organize the contest!

I'm going to go through this thread and make a list of everyone who expressed interest and see how many people we have. Post if you are interested!

I’m interested just one question, what is we don’t need to ship it? Is it cheaper? Would the shipping cost go to prize money? How would that work.

I think it would just be $40 cheaper for you. So $35 instead of $75. You'd still be contributing $10 toward prize money.
