Had to use a new account, previously my username was ihigh for some of those who knew or dealt with me.
I never had a tank update or thread so I figure in some free time I may as well do it.
I started with a 75g in Summer '12
It was going fine, but the spot in the house was a bad location so it needed to be moved. When I was anticipating on moving the tank (In November 2013), another local reefer ended up putting his 120g for sale. I figured, why not upgrade so I won't have to break down, move, put it all back together, etc. (My reasoning was more of an elaborate excuse to upgrade to my parents)
You could tell, it was pretty messy when I picked it up
but...like all determined reefers - we got it cleaned up!
but the stand needed work (the stain doesn't match my parents house)
so...i sanded it with my dad and painted it
Put it into the permanent spot in the house - I took the 29g sump from my old 75g and pretty much all of the equipment
Biggest mistake made: re-using the same old sand (even though I cleaned it...)
I did upgrade some new gear though, black friday sale netted me a vertex omega 130
Took about a month or two to get it fully dialed in...but this is two days worth of stuff. Pretty dark compared to my old SCA-303, but it pulls even more than the SCA. Best upgrade yet.
Here's how the tank looks now: Taken last week

I've never been a decisive person. I love euphyllia, but I also love sticks. People always argue about mixing them, but I decided to try something new. Half the tank is Euphyllia and half is sps. Center sand are acans and the zoas will be sold to buy more stick soon enough!
Current Equipment:
2 AI Vegas (Will be going to either Hydra52 upgrade or Radion Pro Gen2)
Eheim 1262 Return
Single Phosban 150 running po4x4
Vertex Omega 130
2 Jebao wp25
