Snail plugged my return last night and overflowed my whole system. I have no made water cause i did a water change last night. Tank temp 67. Making water from sink. This sucks wish me luck

just filled it up. had no choice put to use tap. This sucks. I just cleaned the system for a whole day and this happens

That stinks. I had the same problem. I now have bird netting, 1/4" squares, over the return pipes. It keeps the snails/fish/crabs out, but doesn't hurt the flow.

Tap would probably be ok if it were well water (still not great to do)...but it may seriously be "bad news bears" if it's city water....New York city water....

Sorry to hear; now that you have your water level up, I'd mix up some RO water and do a couple water changes over the next couple days in order to get as much of the tap back out as possible. Probably not going to "kill" off the system or cause a crash, but could cause a algae or diatom outbreak depending on nutrient levels in your tap water.
