Hello I am trying to put a list of fish together for a new build and I'd really like to stock it with fish only found around the Hawaiian islands. If you could give me some ideas that would be great. Also its for a 75 gallon and I'm sure ill be upgrading that as well at some point.

Here’s a snapshot of some fish taken from Hawaii (supposedly) at my LFS.

That moorish idol is such a good size to try to acclimate to captivity! Oh man I’d have trouble resisting that one.

They go fast. They post their catches every few days. When I get there... gone. Usually just tangs, butterflies and flame angels left.

I was actually thinking of getting one as the main focus with it being the state fish.
Do you live in Hawaii? I’m from Hawaii and it’s almost taboo to keep one but oddly it’s not illegal.

Who posts the pics of the fish? I'm looking for some butteries from HI.
