Hawaiian flame wrasse

I just lost one of my hfw. It kept getting a problem with its eyes. One eye would swell slightly then get a sky blue look inside. It would go away and the other one would get it. Any idea of what this was? I will be geting a new super male and would like to avoid this situation in the future. Thanks

It didn't swell much and never got that fuzzy look.
