Hello! I'm Tony, a lifelong freshwater aquarist and orchid grower. I took the plunge into saltwater a couple of months ago after falling in love with a pair of clowns at my LFS that finally pushed me past my hesitation to tackle the expense and trouble of reef keeping and I'm loving it. My initial pair of domino ocellaris were quickly joined by pairs of pink skunks and naked ocellaris, and the reef family has started to grow again with a juvenile maroon and orchid dottyback now in QT and two pair of blackfoot clowns due to ship later this week.
I've attached pics of our tanks, so far everything seems to be doing well and I'm pleased to see that modern aquarium equipment has made reef keeping much simpler than it was the last time I dabbled in saltwater back in the mid 90s. I've spent many hours digging through old threads and absorbing information over the last couple of months so I thought I ought to register and introduce myself. Thanks for having me, and I hope you enjoy the selection of orchids from our collection in addition to my tank pics.
