We are Shawn & Mel. Yes, a dreaded joint account.

I kicked my husbands obsessive nature into over drive when I rescued a gorgeous Betta from a box store.

It quickly moved into fancy shrimp for me, then a 55g tank with various fish, sharks, a blue lobster. We decided to split up the tank into two 40g breeders, his and mine, and then we moved the lobster into a 36g AIO. That left us with 5 tanks. Our kiddo also has an albino axolotl in a 40g breeder making it 6.

After months of hearing the husband yearn for salt water we pulled the plug and got a 30g breeder. Last month we moved it up to a 40g breeder and I am just starting a 15g nano.

Beginning of next year once the last kid moves out we will be upgrading to a 100+g tank.
