Help chose a coral!

Okay so I’m at a loss as to what kind of coral I want to add to this particular spot. I’m not sure if I want encrusting or what but it has to be somewhat controllable and won’t overrun the green slimer if it grows up that way and won’t get destroyed by the frogspawn.

Almost right in the middle of the tank between the frogspawn and the green slimer.

Just looking for suggestions to see what will come up.

I forgot to mention that spot sits between 150-250 par I believe.

I feel that’s not the best place for acros.

Might be a cool spot for a plating coral of some sort, have it overhang. You would have to move the ones in your substrate though.

A monti with bright colors that will also spike and encrust. Have it cascade down from upper rock down to lower rock. Just a thought. Should be fine in that PAR.

Bright yellow/orange encruster. Lepto, lepta, psammacora, chalice etc...take your pic. Perhaps even a nice bright shroom. Embrace the lower elevation but highlight it at the same time.

So many options! I would probably mount your acans in that area and start a garden of them.

I didn’t think of that! I have a sunburst monti I could mount there that’s currently in the sand bed although I did plan to mount it above the powerhead to the right where that glue stain is at.

Love my Looney Tunes stylo and my WWC Electric Daisy stylo would look great there. They encrust and have great color pretty hearty as well.
