Hello,

I have fairly new tank setup for about 5 months. I have about 10 acros in there. I noticed some tissue recession on some older acros and dipped them in coral rx and noticed a bunch of these pests. They move around pretty quick. Also I just noticed a bunch on my frag racks. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Really hard to tell from that shot but look like amphipods. they were probably cleaning up dead tissue. Not the cause of it. Can you get a better close up?

Here is a closer pic of the frag rack with blue lights on. It completely slipped my mind that they could be pods.
Thanks

I would say pods also. Your acros prob dying from other reasons. Maybe swings in perimeters?

Thanks everyone. Yeah I did have a alk go down a bit from from 7.2 to 6.5 recently. Everything was fairly stable before that. But tank is fairly new and was started with dry rock. Probably added corals in to soon. Will try to wait until everything is stable again for a while before adding anything else.
