Hi there everyone,

Just got this piece of beach bum montipora in the post today however is doing some strange things atm. Seems to have s slime of some sort on it.

Was wanting some advice.... is it dying or what?

That doesn't look right! Could be just sliming but I've never seen one slime like that. It might be a goner. After a bit, I would vigorously agitate to shake off slime or turkey baste it and see. Otherwise, contact the vendor.
 
Yea looks like it's rtn'ing to me. Put it in lower light and medium light flow and leave it alone. It might pull through. I would also contact the seller.
 
Sorry to say.. it will perish. Seen that before, they usually don't pull through
