Help with frogspawn an hammers

I need some feedback. This is a 220 gallon tank. It’s currently on lockdown for 76 days do to ich/velvet. The only thing in it is corals, star fish, snails and an anemone. I took a video and as you can see my euphyllia is shrinking. Everything else is thriving. I ghost feed it daily and this afternoon I target fed with reef roids. I moved one piece to the sand bed to see if lower light and flow would help. But it’s even shrunk more.

Maybe the tank is too clean without the fish. What are your nitrates at? Phos 0 is not exactly a great thing.

Do some ghost feeding, act like you’re feeding the fish even though they’re aren’t any. Bump up your cuc with a few large shrimp (peppermint or fire for example) to help with the nutrients and I think you’ll be in tip top shape. My hammer never did well until I added a fish then all of a sudden it was gigantic.

Did you say 160 alkalinity? please verify, that could be a major problem if so. The only other thing I'm seeing wrong is the phosphates of 0, but with more frequent feedings that should fix itself.

OP is most likely using a ppm measurement so 8.9-9 dkh I thnk

Lol its just a guess but Im thinking he is using a Hannah H1755 checker measuring in ppm then converting it to dkh

Sorry, I mistook that for 160 dkh, very different xD In dkh, your alk is about 8.5 ish, which is good. Sorry if I scared you!

A couple of other notes, I do 10% weekly WC. Ghost feed daily with reef frenzy and every other day swap for brine shrimp/reef roids. The fish have been quarantined for 66 days. So only 10 days away from adding them.

So I think you're main issue may be low nutrients, most likely caused by the lack of fish in the system. You may want to try feeding a bit more, or even better I would wait until the tank is done with the fallow period. When you start adding fish back in, I guarantee you'll see you're NO3 & PO4 get back to normal levels.

Do you have any algae growth that might be consuming your nutrients messing up your test results? If not then I would say you might want to slightly increase feeding.
