It worked great for the first month, 2nd month I had to raise it with a diy stand to keep it from overflowing, then 2 months after that it just stopped pulling stuff all together, then randomly would overflow. I cleaned it thoroughly as well, that would help for a few days, then back to nothing or overflowing.

Interesting I will have to keep an eye on this thing. What are you running now? The footprint of the essence barely fits (Like by mm) in my sump - one of the reasons I chose it.

That was the reason I chose it originally as well. This one Bubble Magus Curve 7 Elite actually has a very similar footprint even for being so much bigger and twice as powerful of a pump. This one fits perfect in my 9 by 11 sump chamber.

What size is your tank? Anything less than a 90 I’m sure the essence would be great for. My bioload was just to much for it. I wish the bioload ratings on skimmers were actually accurate.

I gave it a try. A decent amount of unknown powder blew off. We will see. Doesent look to thrilled just yet, lol.

Well I just got these from the live sale a couple weeks ago.

And a magic wand, shag priority, and confused monti from battlecorals today for the grow out contest.

Also got a couple others from the lfs that I don’t know what are. Haha

Nothing crazy but I am getting the tank looking less like a pile of rocks after my crash last year.

Thanks. I’ve since glued them all to rocks but don’t have anymore shots of it. I think my biggest learning curve over the next few months is figuring out how to deal with dosing and reacting to changes in the tank so it’s good to see how you’ve been doing it as well
