My octospawn is coming back to life as well. Any one know what kind this is? It’s yellowish but I don’t think it’s a true yellow.

Could you check my build for placement to make sure nothing is in a obviously bad spot?

@Hemmdog You asked me about SPS placement. I am no expert, but I will say a few things I have learned and seen.

First, all my research said give the Millepora the most light and flow. You saw in my thread earlier that has seemed to hold true.

Second, I shot for SPS PAR around 250-350. I make any changes very slowly. I used a PAR meter (Seneye) a few times to check. I also shot for heavy random flow.

I will think about it some more.

Sounds good. I’ll keep an eye on them. The asd rainbow Milli gets good flow in that spot now but I think it’s shadowed a little bit when my t5’s aren’t on. We will see I guess, haha. My par should be decent with 2 360’s and 4 t5’s 11 inches above the water id assume.

Does anyone with JFox Flame keep it higher up? I was told it was fairly low light for an acro. I have 360’s and t5 hybrid. I keep it on the sandbed actually, it’s encrusted some but the color is not good at all. Is this brown a low light brown or what else could be causing this?

Does the person know what a fish tank is or is it a pro? We take for granted terms like baffle and powerhead. But if a muggle is caring for a tank they will not remember what those things are. Make it super simple if so. Label everything and print it out typed with pictures.

Looking great! Love the build. Once my tank gets built hoping to get more active in my build thread.
Thank you so much! I’m glad you like it so far! I’ll be sure to check up on your progress as well!

Enjoy the snow, You know Im jealous! The simpler the instructions are the better. Remember with todays tech Facetime in emergencies or uncertain situations is your friend. Make sure they realize if theyre uncertain to just shoot a text amd ask. Let them know its not a bother in the least.
