I officially retired my first reef, my biocube 32. Good memories, lots of lessons learned in this tank.

I remember when I retired my 55 gallon it was bitter sweet.

So many pics of these silly ricordias.. I know sorry, but I find this fascinating. The normal brownish base color on them is now going purple, blue, and green. I just noticed it now at night, I hope these colors come out during the day to!

Finally got the skimmer dialed in on this tank; it was wet skimming or no skimming the first few weeks.

I also added that giant marine pure block. It’s a little big, but it works for now until I have a need to connect my reactors.

is that an illusion or did you casually plant your green slimer in your birdsnest colony lol
Lol illusion, the birdsnest is encrusted to the side of this long branch live rock, the slimer is on top of that same rock lol. They will duke it out one day, that’s for sure. I usually frag the birdsnest near that area to keep them at bay, lol.

LOL
Seaciety I love it
Title reminds me of south park Sea People & Me
Lolol that’s literally what gave me the idea to change it lol. My 90 is a little Seaciety! It has a fuge to grow its own food and export nutrients, most my fish have jobs, full clean up crew, truely is a Seaciety, calcium reactor melting my own coral frags would be the ultimate Seaciety imo.. lol
Stranger Things gave me the idea for Vale of Shadows, due to that being the real name of the “upside down”. And my 40b is aggressive fish, euphilla, Hollywood stunners, and palys, and only one light so it’s reletavely shadowy; the name seemed fitting lol.

Good flow, I lost a section of mine due to low flow I think.
Awesome, it’s in a pretty flowy spot now, still has polyps out, hopefully we will see some encrusting in the next month or two.

So I’ve decided I’m not very happy with my 360’s for acros. The hybrid fixture is good but it’s not giving me enough light.
Options:
Hybrid/ 2 360we’s (current setup) raise intensity from 80 to 100, see if that helps
Hybrid/ 2 360we’s & 2 360X’s
Hybrid/ 2 360X’s (already have 1 360x) @ 100%
Hybrid/ reefbreeders v2+ 48’
Hybrid/ 2 viparspectras
ATI 6 bulb t5

Open to more options, not trying to spend thousands on Orpheks or xr30 pros, even though I would love those lights.

I wonder if you'll find any SeaMen in there? ;)
