Glad I was referred to this forum, what a great site!! A little about me - I've been in the reefing hobby around 4 years now and grew up keeping freshwater aquariums. My first reef tank was an 8 gallon biocube, which quickly became a 20L, which became 2 X 55gallons, which now became a 7' 150, lol. I am in the process of purchasing a home and am about to have to move the tank which I am not looking forward to, but once settled in will start moving towards an even bigger tank. I am looking at both a 240 and a 300 as a 8ft tank will fit perfectly on the wall of this particular house.
I'll post some pics soon on the site, but my setup is pretty basic. A mixed reef with a wide variety of fish, halides and t5's for lighting, koralia's for movement, skimmer and fuge in sump for filtration (have 30+ mangroves sucking No3 and Po4, 60+ days since last water change and still undetectable levels). I love this hobby and the ocean, just not fond of what it does to my wallet, lol...
Anyways, look forward to meeting fellow hobbyists here and hopefully learning alot! :nerd:
