My name is Kent. I'm new to saltwater but I've had several freshwater aquariums over the years. I was diagnosed with ALS in 2001,at the age of 30. I'm fully paralyzed now and on a ventilator but I'm not done living yet. I operate my computer via eye movement and i research everything and have my daughters set things up for me. I wasn't sure about getting into saltwater aquariums being on a budget, but yolo. I have a 40 gallon breeder at the foot of my bed. It's nothing fancy but I'm enjoying my setup anyway, I realize i won't be able to have expensive fish and corals but there's a lot of fish in the sea that don't cost a lot.
My setup right now is a 40 gallon breeder with a aquaclear 70 hob filter with sponge, Chemipure blue and phosban. 36 " led light, 100 watt heater and a 800 gph powerhead. It's bare bottom with about 40 pounds of live rock. Like i said, it's a low budget system. I have 2 juvenile Oscallaris Clownfish. It's been running for about two months. I'm thinking about soft corals, any suggestions appreciated. Hope to get to know you all better, have a great day.

Welcome to R2R! Zoas are nice, easy to care for and in many colors/patterns.
