Hi from a newbie

Just thought I'd say Hi from Scotland.
I'm getting into this hobby after years of wanting to go marine. Got a 55gal tank and its all up and running and going well. Love this forum, it's been an invaluable learning resource and jeez is there a lot of learning to do. Gradually going to upgrade and add to the setup. I even upgraded one of my hermits today, went down to the beach and got some new shells, he was straight into a new one. I know one of the beaches further along is contaminated with radioactive waste so I hope I don't wake up to a 60 ft glowing hermit crab terrorising the village, I suppose if that could happen Japan would be over run, but then again they've got Godzilla to deal with that sort of thing ;)

Not got the main lights on cos fishes are sleeping [emoji225]zzzz but this will give you an idea. No corals yet, just fish (Chromis) and CUC. Start adding more stuff in April when I get back from Florida.

I loved the monkey too, until I got caught in the cross fire of a monkey fight. Didn't love the 30 days of treatment for rabies exposure too much though. That's a lot of injections. I'll stick with fish from now on. Although with my luck I'll probably get stung by a coral at some point. Lol

After a bit of puzzlement I've just realised that crabs moult, which explains last weeks and today's miraculous resurrections from my two. Everyday is a school day :/

Lol the first time I found my emerald crabs "body" I was so upset, then a week later I see him walking around, needless to say this has happened to a lot of us:D
